This product incorporates a laser probe into an ophthalmic endoscope. It allows for direct visualization during an intraocular pressure-lowering laser treatment for glaucoma.

In the past, both hands were required to operate the laser probe and endoscope, making it a complicated operation. However, this product can be operated with just one hand.
Securing the coagulation site with the aiming beam
The aiming beam, visible in the endoscopic image, allows for easy confirmation of the coagulation site.
Endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation with 532-nm (ECP)
Endoscopic cyclophotocoagulation (ECP) with a green laser (532 nm) can be performed under direct vision.

Conventional vitreous surgery under a microscope has the limitation in obtaining a view of fundus. AS-611 can be used for vitreous and glaucoma surgery with a difficult case to obtain a view of fundus such as opacity or rupture of cornea or lens. It is effective for observation of peripheral retina, ciliary body, posterior of iris and for laser photocoagulation surgery.
AS-611 is available in 4 types - 20G, 23G, 25G and 27G. Type 20G, 23G and 25G feature 10,000 pixels.
